How to improve the management of backup rolls

Because the backup rolls are expensive, manufacturing cycle & service cycle is long, and it is difficult to inspect the roll surface in a service cycle, so the management of the backup rolls is very important. At present, many grinding shop installed the eddy current flaw detector on the grinding machines. After each grinding, the eddy current flaw detection is carried out to eliminate cracks and hardening area of the roll surface. So that the rolls can be safely used in the rolling mill. This method helps avoid the spall of roll barrel.
